Special SAKE

SAKEMARU only deliver seasonal limited Junmai or Junmai Ginjo grade SAKE. They SAKE are normally neither unfiltered nor pasteurized, so that they are very rarely appeared in even Japan.
All the SAKE is selected by our SAKE sommelier, so that the quality and taste is guaranteed. Let us rely the SAKE selection on us. Of course I you have any comments or suggestions after drinking our SAKE, please let us know!
Filtering is the process to usually put charcoal in to the SAKE tank to get rid of color and rough flavor. Pasteurizing is the process to stop the further fermentation of yeast by heating SAKE. These process is very important to prevent sake from the taste degradation, however, this process is easy to get rid of the individuality of each sake.
Right after receiving SAKE, put it in the refrigerator. Please drink up quickly after you open it.

Subscription commerce

25th is billing day for every month. However it is done right after first subscription and plan change.
Yes. Billing automatically on 25th every month except for 1st month. Once you cancel from 25th to end of the month, cancellation is effective from the month after next.
In case you subscribe by 15th, next billing is automatically done on 7th month. In case you subscribe from 16th to end of the month, next billing is automatically done on 8th month.
It is possible to change the plan except for the month subscribe or change the plan. In case you choose 6 month pack, you can change the plan 6 month after.

SAKEMARU uses paypal as settlement system. Paypal is one of the most using payment platform in the world which has 15-years experience and history.

SNOW DORM

Your sake is stored in our snow dorm at 2nd month after your subscription. Next sake will be stored on the same month in next year.
Yes, you can receive it. Even though you did’t order to take it out, we will deliver it in accordance with the regular schedule.
Snow aging sake matured for more than 1 year can be taken out anytime you want. Please go to your personal page and display your list of snow aging sake. Check box of "Take out" is displayed for the sake matured for 10 months.
Please select sake you’d like to take out and click “Take all out ” button. Your snow aging sake is delivered to your home in accordance with following the schedule.

→ Delivery on 25 Feb

・Order during 16 Jan - 15 Mar
→ Delivery on 25 Apr

・Order during 16 Mar - 15 May
→ Delivery on 25 Jun

・Order during 16 May - 15 Jul
→ Delivery on 25 Aug

・Order during 16 Jul - 15 Sep
→ Delivery on 25 Oct

・Order during 16 Sep - 15 Nov
→ Delivery on 25 Dec
The taste of SAKE tends to be richer and milder. The mechanism is scientifically figured out gradually, for example, matured sake in SNOW DORM reduced the aldehyde which gives the negative effect to the aroma more than general ones.
You can mature your sake as long as you like, unless canceling the membership. The taste of sake nouveau transforms dramatically even after 1 year.
Nobody can't expect how the taste of sake grows after 2, 3 years. Please enjoy your own aging sake.
If you would like to see the SNOW DORM, please send your request from contact form.
We can't deliver the SAKE stored less than one year, so that you will loose the chance to receive matured sake.
Only sake stored for a year is able to be taken out.

Delivery

Usually SAKE is delivered around 25th every month.
In case you subscribe from 15th to end of the month, First SAKE is delivered on 25th next month.
We have built the perfectly cold logistics from the brewery to your house, so that we can keep the quality and freshness.

If your SAKE passes the deadline to keep in YAMATO TRANSPORT, it is automatically cancelled and unable to be resent and refunded. Due to the nature of this product, we will not be able to accept resending SAKE.
The postage is included in the plan.

Cancel/Return

Please send your cancel request from the contact form. Please don't forget to write your full name and email address and phone number. If you send us a cancel request by 24th every month, SAKEMARU will stop delivering sake from next month.
SAKEMARU and our partner breweries must maintain the clean and safe production process of sake and the shipment, so that we can gruarantee the quality of sake.
Basically the change of sake and refund is not acceptable. However if you find any failure, please contat to us within 5 days after receiving sake.
Due to the nature of this product, we will not be able to accept any exchanges or returns because of the customers' personal preferences.

Friend Invite

Please click the link in the invitation and click "Subscribe to claim your credit" button. You will enter in the subscription steps. Please choose the plan you would like to subscribe and check if it's discounted at step 4. You can use credits for all plan.
As soon as your friends subscribe, credits will be added to your account. Credits are applied for your lastest payment automatically.
Credits are effective at next billing month. All the credits you accumulate until then will be automatically applied for your next payment.
