Saitooshizuku is breeding from 1997 and license at 2004. It breeds with “Kokuryomiyako” and “Saikai-no222” and still new generation brewery rice.
Saitooshizuku has the characteristics of lodging resistance, easy planting, and high yield. Its rice grains are large and it is suitable for high-polish rice. It can be used for brewing Junmai and Ginjo sake, and has a light and clear flavor.
